The Devkund Waterfall Trek is approximately 2700 feet in elevation. Devkund Also known as the ‘bathing lake of the gods’, this mystical waterfall has some mythological significance and is considered sacred by locals. Some of the beautiful walks such as Tamhini Ghats, Andharban are located in this area.

The waterfall tumbles over the rocky surface in powerful jets and flows straight into a natural pool of turquoise water. The fresh waterfall flows all year round, making him one of the few perennial waterfalls in Maharashtra. 

The Devkund Waterfall Trek is approximately 170km from Mumbai and 110km from Pune. The drive to the base village takes about 7 hours from Mumbai and about 5 hours from Pune. Easily accessible via the Mumbai-Pune Expressway.

Devkund Waterfall Trek is 170 km away from Mumbai and 110 km away from Pune. The package offers comfortable pick-up & drop-off service to the base village- Bhira, which can be availed on the selection of particular package options.

From Mumbai, the route would be:

Mumbai-Chembur-Vashi-Pune expressway-Khalapur-Pali-Bhira.

From Pune, the route would be:

Pune-Kothrud-Bhugaon-Pirangut-Mulshi-Tamhini Ghat-Bhira

Best Time to Visit Devkund Waterfalls

The best time to go to the Devkund Waterfall Trek is during the monsoon season. The temperature is on the lower side and the atmosphere is perfect for a day out. The Waterfall strikes best between July and August as there is heavy rainfall.
